Four Heights, Four Styles, Endless Possibilities

Four standard heights fit most project needs. At 42 and 48 inches, partition walls define seating areas and guide movement without blocking sightlines. At 60 and 72 inches, they secure restricted areas, with gates controlling access. Custom heights are also available. Contact us for more details.

Four post types build any layout. End posts finish a run, center posts continue it, corner posts turn it, and receiver posts accept a latch or lock.

Bolt It Down or Leave No Trace

Some installations call for a permanent anchor. Others can't take a drill bit at all. Three mounting options cover the range.

Partition Wall Post Square Flange

Flange Mount

A 5.1-inch square flange bolts the post directly to the floor through four anchor points. The standard choice for walls that stay put, available at every height.

Cut Flange Mount

A narrower 3.5-by-5.1-inch flange lets a post sit tight against a wall or column. Use it where a full flange won't fit the space.

Magnetic Mount

No drilling of any kind. A steel plate adheres to the floor, the magnetic base locks on, and a cover plate conceals the hardware. Available on 42 and 48-inch posts.

Locking Gates Provide Controlled Access

Gates integrate anywhere within the run, creating a cohesive look. They swing in both directions, then close and lock by hand. Pair two gates that meet in the middle for a wide opening.

Partition Wall Gate Latch

Gate Locks and Latches

A key-lock gate latch restricts access to staff with the key. A 6 or 8-inch sliding latch holds a gate closed without key control. Both engage the slot built into the receiver post and operate by hand, with nothing to power or maintain.

Partition Wall Kick Plate

Push Plates & Kick Plates

Push plates help hide the handprints where people push the gate. Kick plates absorb the impact from carts, luggage, and shoes. Both ship as pairs to cover front and back. Kick plates are available for both walls and gates.

FAQ

How is an architectural partition wall different from a glass railing system?

Glass railing systems are very similar to Architectural Partition Walls. The main difference are the built-in modular gates in the Architectural Partition Wall system. Additionally, short partition walls can stand on non-invasive magnetic bases that don't require core drilling or bolting to the floor, leaving terrazzo floors, tile, and historic buildings unscathed.

Can glass barrier walls be installed without drilling the floor?

Yes, on 42- and 48-inch-tall walls, you can use a magnetic base. A steel floor plate glues to the floor; the magnetic base attaches to it with set screws that go only into the plate, and a cover plate finishes the base. No core-drilling or bolting is required. You can remove the floor plates, along with the system, without leaving marks or damaging the flooring. 60- and 72-inch walls bolt down on flange or cut-flange mounts.

Can the gates be used as emergency exits?

No. The gates are for access control: they swing both ways and close and lock by hand. When a barrier layout needs push-through exit points, Post & Panel breakaway gates open under pressure. Plan exit locations according to your local fire code.

Can Architectural Partition Walls be used outdoors?

Yes. The posts are 316-grade (marine-grade) stainless steel, which resists corrosion indoors and out. Tempered glass and acrylic are naturally weather-resistant.

What height partition wall do I need?

Every height secures a space. 42- and 48-inch walls keep sight lines open and can use removable magnetic bases. 60- and 72-inch walls prevent pass-through, which makes them the most secure choice.
