FAQ

What are post-top stanchion signs?

Post-top stanchion signs display messaging at eye level within queue signage systems by mounting directly on top of a stanchion.

How do stanchion sign holders work?

Stanchion sign holders attach to the top of posts using adapters and hold interchangeable inserts for flexible queue messaging.

What are post-top stanchion signs used for?

Post-top stanchion signs are used for queue signage, wayfinding, instructions, and branding, placing messaging directly within lines — often marking entrances, exits, and key decision points.

What size sign fits a stanchion?

Most stanchion sign frames support sizes from 7" × 11" to 14" × 22", depending on the model and mounting type.

Can stanchion signage be updated easily?

Yes. Snap frame and slide-in stanchion sign holders allow quick insert changes for updated messaging.

What is the difference between post-top and overhead signage?

Post-top signage provides eye-level messaging within queues, while overhead signage is designed for long-range visibility across larger spaces.

How do you install stanchion sign holders?

Most post-top sign holders install by attaching to the top of the post using adapters or by replacing the finial with a sign frame.

Are stanchion signs suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Lavi outdoor stanchion signage systems, like our Tempest models, are weather-resistant for exterior environments.

Do post-top stanchion signs work with electronic signage systems?

Yes. Post-top stanchion signs complement electronic queue systems by providing static, printed messaging within the physical queue.
