One size up from the smallest splice, the 830-1H handles the most common railing diameter: it slips inside two 1.5" OD tube ends and locks them end-to-end inline, so a stair, balcony, or guardrail reads as a single rail rather than separate lengths. The soft brass deforms slightly for a friction fit, gripping the inside of the tube for quick installation — and because of that brass build, one splice works across brass, chrome, or stainless steel tubing, including a 316 stainless run near the coast. It pairs with the 1.5" round tubing and matching fittings in the same line.
